I have to say, I liked that moment, too. Rather, the whole novel contains a fair amount of brutality toward women. What romance novel begins with the heroine, in this case a beautiful highborn redhead, living with the man she loves without benefit of marriage although he says he'll marry her all the while it is clear from the back story this book comes after Love's Tender Furyhe has not always treated her well and now is acting rather cold and harsh toward her? Etymology[ edit ] The origin of the name is uncertain. Though the library has been remodeled over the years, it still retains the rich oak interior it had when first built.
